Western’s Weather Wrap: Staying Cold with Some Flurries

The clouds have returned today, and that’s definitely keeping us on the cold side.

The winds aren’t nearly as strong as yesterday, but with just a slight breeze, wind chills are still brutal down below zero. Dress in layers if you have to head out!

We’re also tracking some flurries in northern Kansas today, but these are not expected to amount to much of anything.

We could certainly use the moisture, though! Our latest drought monitor was updated yesterday, and conditions continue to worsen. Particularly in southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma where we’re now seeing an area of Extreme Drought!

I’ll let you know when our next chance for snow arrives and if we’ll be warming up anytime soon, coming up on KSN News at Noon, or you can watch our latest forecasts right here: http://ksn.com/2017/03/08/weather-forecast-discussion/
