Spotty storms have been ongoing in northwest Kansas this evening, a few becoming severe at times. Get the latest look at the radar here: http://ksn.com/weather/interactive-radar/
The rest of the state has been quiet, and just plain hot today! High temperatures have soared into the 90s across the majority of Kansas.
For the rest of the evening, expect scattered storms to continue northwest, though they should quickly weaken after sunset. Otherwise, plenty of sunshine, light winds, low humidity, and warm temperatures sliding down into the 70s.
The spotty storm chances we’ve seen today will continue for the rest of the week, though most are expected to stay dry.
Our storm chances will increase for the weekend as a front approaches, however. Lisa is live from the Kansas State Fair and will let you know what this weather means for those planning on heading out to Hutchinson for the weekend, tonight on KSN News at 5, 6, and 10!
