Teachman’s Take: Strong, Warm Winds With Weekend Severe Storms

The winds have been fierce today with gusts at times above 40 MPH.  Overnight, these winds will stay strong and linger into tomorrow. The positive to today has been the fact these southerly winds have pushed our temperatures well into the 70s and lower 80s. I am expecting changes over the next 24 hours.  A strong cold front will approach the area and severe storms will be possible Saturday afternoon and evening for the eastern third of the state.
