Denzel Goolsby Named Cactus Bowl Defensive MVP

With his team trailing in the second half, Kansas State defensive back Denzel Goolsby made the play of the game. The former Bishop Carroll Golden Eagle stripped the football from the UCLA running back, and the wildcats recovered.

Because of that play and a few more, the Cactus Bowl named Goolsby defensive most valuable player. Goolsby noted how his team changed things up after halftime.
