8:54PM and the sun has set. Picture perfect sight!

7:07PM RADAR UPDATE: Severe storm in Grant county moving south along K-25 heading toward Ulysses – hail greater than 2″ possible. Seek shelter!

5:53PM RADAR UPDATE: Severe storm capable of 70mph wind & tennis ball size hail possible with storm along Finney and Kearny county line. Moving South.

4:48PM RADAR UPDATE: Severe storms dropping large hail (2″+ possible) across west central Kansas. Storm WATCH remains in effect til 9PM. Forecast on KSN News at 5.

1:56PM STORM UPDATE: Severe storm WATCH issued for Western and Central Kansas until 9PM. This watch does NOT include the Wichita metro.

Noon: There is a chance for strong to severe storms in W KS this afternoon… Large hail and gusty winds are the primary threat.

5:00AM It’s a very nice start to the day today!! We are clear and mild this morning with light winds. Temps will build up this afternoon as southerly winds bring up more heat and humidity. Still with light winds and sun, it still looks like a pretty nice afternoon.
