K-State sexual assault suspect removed from campus

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – Kansas State University says a suspect in a recent sexual assault that was reported last Friday on campus has been removed from a residence hall at the university.

The university sent out an alert on December 9 to students after they received a report of an on campus sexual assault.

The female student was assaulted late Sunday night, Dec. 4, inside a dorm room in one of the residence halls on K-State’s campus.

The university says they have also taken additional steps to ease any risk to the campus community stemming from this incident.

The investigation regarding the incident is continuing.
