Local Burger King robbed at gunpoint

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Police are investigating after a Burger King was robbed early Sunday morning. It happened in the 500 block of North Oliver at 4:30 a.m.

Two employees say they were working when someone rang a buzzer at the back door of the business.

When they answered the door, a 35-year-old forced his way in at gunpoint.

Officers say the suspect demanded money and held up one of the employees with the gun.

The suspect fled the scene with an unknown amount of money.

Police say there is video footage of the incident from the Burger King, but they have not received it yet.
