Southeast Boys hold off South 71-65

The Southeast boys basketball team got all they could handle from Wichita South. But in the end, the Golden Buffaloes held on for the 71-65 win.

Israel Barnes paced Southeast with 35 points, who also got impressive contributions from freshmen Micah Jaques and Shawn Warrior.

Southeast led 40-32 at the half, but South made a run late in the game to make it a one-possession game with less than a minute to go. In the end though, the Golden Buffaloes close out an impressive season-opening win.
