Black Friday shoppers look for great deals

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Black Friday shoppers were out in full force this year.

Hundreds of people lined up to get inside Cabela’s Friday morning. Most people weren’t looking for anything particular, they were just in it for a good time and fun experience.

The first people in line said it has turned into a bit of a competition over the years since Cabela’s first opened.

Shoppers were welcomed with music and movies as they waited in line.

Logan Schrag was the first shopper in line Wednesday afternoon. He was in line at 4:30 p.m.

Jeffrey Baker showed up 30 minutes later.

“Every year we always have a competition. I really don’t know him all that much, but it’s… we fight on who…”

“Friendships are once a year, right?” said Logan.

“We wanna be the first ones here.”

“Yep. That’s exactly right.”

“Normally they beat me, but…”

“Hey we got him this year though. That was the important thing.”

Cabela’s opened their doors Friday morning at 5:00 a.m.
