Plane registered to Kansas company crashes in north Texas

DALLAS, Texas (KSNW) – A single-engine Cessna 182, registered to Skypartners LLC in Buhler, Kansas, crashed shortly after takeoff from Bridgeport Municipal Airport in north Texas Wednesday morning. It happened around 11:15 a.m.

The pilot reported engine trouble and returned to the airport. The plane crashed just short of the runway. The pilot and passenger were seriously injured according to KXAS-TV. The male occupant was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The female occupant was airlifted to a Fort Worth, Texas hospital.
