GREAT BEND, Kan. (KSNW) – A Great Bend woman was arrested late Monday morning for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
A Barton County sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 24th and Kansas Ave. After contacting the driver, the deputy requested the assistance of a K9 officer from the Great Bend Police Department. The K9 indicated the presence of a controlled substance in the vehicle. A search was conducted, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were found.
The driver was identified as Rachelle Hillegeist, age 47 of Great Bend. Hillegeist was transported to the Barton County jail and booked for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond
