House in northeast Wichita shot at numerous times early Wednesday

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Some Wichita residents had a rude awakening Wednesday morning after several shots were fired at their home. It happened around 5 a.m. in the 2700 block of North Piatt.

The home was occupied by two women, ages 36 and 15. The home was hit several times, but no one inside was injured.

Witnesses in the area described seeing a 90’s model red SUV during the time of shooting but don’t know if it’s connected.
