Update: Goddard man killed in crash in southwest Sedgwick County

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) – A 25-year-old Goddard man was killed in a vehicle crash in southwest Sedgwick County Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. near 231st Street West and MacArthur Rd.

Lt. Lin Dehning with the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department said a green 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe was southbound in the 4300 block of 231st Street West. Dehning said the 25-year-old man, identified as Clayton Lee Cotton, lost control and the vehicle rolled over, ending up on its side. Cotton was ejected from the Tahoe and died at the scene.

This wreck is still under investigation to determine the cause.
