WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Michael O’Donnell defeated Tim Norton in the race for Sedgwick County Commissioner District 2 Tuesday night.
Tim Norton received 48 percent of the vote with 14,019. Michael O’Donnell had 51 percent of the vote with 14,898. The unofficial results were reported by Sedgwick County just after 11 p.m.
Here is what O’Donnell had to say about his victory.
“Well, they said it couldn’t be done, but we collectively did it! Cheers, when we started this campaign, I had so many people tell me I couldn’t win.”
O’Donnell told KSN the biggest thing he wants to work on when he takes that seat for the county commission is jobs and the economy.
