Police identify man killed in northeast Wichita shooting

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A 37-year-old man has died following a shooting in northeast Wichita Monday afternoon.  It happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Terrace.

Wichita police officers confirm the victim, identified as Quinton Gilliard, died of multiple gunshot wounds. Right now, police are still searching for a suspect.

“We’re still under the investigation right now trying to leads and information,” said Patrol East Captain Kevin Mears. “We’re contacting individuals, looking for witnesses.  A lot of people have videos, any information that could assist us in trying to figure out what happened out here.”
