Vandalism by firearms in Old Town

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Deputy Chief Troy Livingston with the Wichita Police Department says officers are searching for suspects who vandalized a vehicle in Old Town Saturday night.

He says the shots were heard around 10:40 p.m. in the 100 block of North Mosely.

When officers arrived on scene, they found several shell casings and damage to the rear window of a Ford vehicle.

Livingston says they are reviewing video in the area to identify the suspects.

“The businesses are coming forward and are trying to be a part of a solution,”  Livingston said. “That’s something I’m actually proud of. They are not hindering us in any way.”

People with information are urged to call Crimestoppers at 267-2111.
