PARK CITY, Kan. (KSNW) – The Park City Police Department said a 42-year-old Newton man died as result of injuries he suffered in a crash Tuesday. The accident happened around 7:10 p.m. near the intersection of Broadway and 77th Street North.

The two vehicles involved included a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by 42-year-old Johnny R. Barrientez of Newton and a Chrysler minivan driven by 46-year-old David E. Crosby of Park City.

A preliminary investigation showed that both vehicles were northbound on Broadway when the minivan made a turn onto 77th Street North. The motorcycle attempted to pass the van and struck it on the left side.

Barrientez was transported to Via Christi St. Francis where he later died. The driver and three passengers in the minivan were not injured.
