Teen killed in crash in northeast Kansas

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) – A teen is dead after his pickup left the highway Sunday morning.

Kansas Highway Patrol logs state the accident happened at 1 a.m. in northeast Kansas.

According to the log, 18-year-old Skylar Callahan was driving on a Jefferson County when his pickup left the road.

The vehicle hit three wooden fence posts and overturned twice, ejecting the teen from his seat.

Callahan was taken to a Topeka hospital where he died of his injuries.
