GREAT BEND, Kan. (KSNW) – Two men are recovering after a shooting broke out early Sunday morning in Great Bend.

In a press release, Sergeant James Bachar says officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of 9th Street at 1:30 a.m.

When they arrived, police found 25-year-old David Torres and 44-year-old Gabriel Roman; one shot in the torso, the other shot in the leg. Both were later flown to Wichita for treatment.

Officers determined an argument with several other men lead to the shooting. They arrested 29-year-old Jean Landreau, who faces a charge of attempted murder.

The Great Bend Police Department says they have identified multiple other suspects, but did not name them.
