Circle K robbed at gunpoint

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Police are investigating after a Circle K location was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning.

It happened in the 500 block of North Seneca, just after 5 a.m.

A 20-year-old clerk says a man armed with a handgun took an unknown amount of money and a carton of cigarettes from the business.

The suspect left on foot, running toward 3rd and Dodge.

Authorities say the suspect was wearing a dark bandanna, burnt orange coat over a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, tennis shoes with white stripes around the sole area, and was armed with a small chrome or stainless semi-automatic handgun.

Anyone who has information about the robbery is asked to call Crimestoppers or 911.
