After looking into the possibility of expanding to more than its current 10 schools, the Big 12 decided today against adding any additional schools.

Presidents from each Big 12 school met in Dallas to discuss the possibility, but in the end none of the teams under consideration got enough votes to warrant an invitation. Houston, BYU, and Cincinnati were considered to be some of the frontrunners if expansion had ended up progressing.
