WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – KSN was the recipient of many broadcast awards during Monday’s Kansas Association of Broadcasters annual convention.
Dave Freeman was honored with the Distinguished Service Award for his years of serving Kansans.
KSN’s Molly Brewer won first place in news feature with her story about donations for the Garden City K-9 Unit.
Emily Younger and Photojournalist Merry Murray also won first place for their story about a Hutchinson dad who got a tattoo to match his son’s cancer scar.
Eric Naktin also won first place for his sportscast for when Wichita boxer Nico Hernandez headed to the Olympics.
