WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita’s YWCA hopes to win money to fight domestic abuse
It is called the Purple Purse Challenge. The YWCA is going up against more than 250 other organizations across the nation.
Whichever one can raise the most money, wins a $100,000 grant to help domestic violence survivors.
“It’s time for us to shine as a community and be recognized amongst all these national organizations so we would love to win that grand prize and show the nation that Wichita is taking a stand,” said Kimberly Cronister, YWCA Wichita Development Director.
The Purple Purse Challenge runs until Oct. 25. For more information, click here.
