ELLIS, Kan. (KSNW) – Residents in Ellis may have felt some shaking as they went to sleep Sunday night.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 3.2 magnitude quake hit with an epicenter just to the north of the town. There are no reports of damage.
Three earthquakes struck around Ellis late Thursday and Friday.
Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are general they smallest that are felt by humans and damage is not likely in quakes below magnitude 4.0.
