WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita police are investigating after some kind of hair was pulled from a lake at west Wichita apartment complex Thursday.  It happened around 2 p.m. in the 700 block of N. Silver Springs Drive near the Silver Springs apartment complex

Wichita police said some fishermen pulled hair from the lake. Firefighters were called by Wichita police to assist in the search. Police said nothing else was located after the search.

“We didn’t expect to find anything in the pond, but we do our due diligence to search and to locate to see if anything else is in there,” said Sgt. Nikki Woodrow, Wichita Police Department.

Police don’t know if the hair was real or fake.
