Kapaun Mt. Carmel pulls away late to beat East 25-6


WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – It took a while for both offenses to get going, but in the end the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders pulled away late to beat East 25-6.

Kapaun struck first with a touchdown by Tate Heiland. East responded with a touchdown of their own right before the half, but missed the extra point. And the second half was all Crusaders as they outscored the Blue Aces 18-0 in that half.

With the win, Kapaun is now 2-1 on the season, while East drops to 1-2.
