Ark City man arrested for burglaries, thefts

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. (KSNW) – An Arkansas City man was arrested early Saturday morning in connection with several recent burglaries and thefts.

Officers responded Friday night to the 1000 block of North B Street for several reports of burglary and theft. During the investigation, Casey Christopher Taylor, 30, was identified as a possible suspect. He was taken to the Arkansas City Police Department and questioned about the incidents. During the interview, police learned of additional burglaries that had not yet been reported.

He was booked for three counts of burglary and five counts of theft. He was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail in Winfield. His bond was set at $20,000.
