Garden City police make arrest in meth investigation

GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KSNW) – Garden City police arrested a 49-year-old man after a three-month investigation for meth distribution.

It happened Thursday morning around 5:15 a.m. The Garden City/Finney County SWAT served a warrant to search 2820 Terrace Place.

The suspect, 49-year-old Willie Jackson, was located at the home and arrested without incident.

During the investigation, officers found a handgun inside Jackson’s home.

Jackson was arrested and booked into the Finney County jai. He could face charges of meth distribution, aggravated assault, criminal threat, criminal possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
