One person in serious condition after shooting on I-35 in KC

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KSHB) – One person has been shot on I-35 near Greystone Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas on Saturday afternoon.

KSN’s sister station KSHB reports Kansas City, Kansas Police said that the 19-year-old male shooting victim was found by Kansas City, Missouri police at about 3:30 p.m.  He was a passenger in a pick-up truck traveling north on I-35, and pulled off on the exit ramp at Greystone Avenue after the shooting.  The passenger was shot in the head and is in critical condition at a hospital.

Police are looking for two men wanted for the shooting. The driver of the pick-up was not injured in the shooting incident.

The Cambridge Circle near I-35 and Southwest Boulevard is currently closed off and will reopen soon.
