WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Acting U.S. Attorney Tom Beall announced Tuesday that 25-year-old Austan Kinnaird, already under indictment on a bank robbery charge, has been charged with four more robberies by a federal grand jury.
The four new robbery counts include:
- A Dec. 24, 2015, robbery at Golf Headquarters, 848 N. Webb in Wichita
- A March 11, 2016, robbery at the Dillons grocery store, 1321 N. Main in Hutchinson
- An April 9, 2016, robbery at the Dillons store, 3707 N. Woodlawn in Wichita
- An April 23, 2016, robbery at the Dillons store, 13415 W. Maple in Wichita
Kinnaird is also charged with an April 29, 2016 robbery at the Intrust Bank in the Dillons store at 9450 E Harry in Wichita.
If convicted, Kinnaird faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000 on each count. The Wichita Police Department and the FBI investigated. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Hart is prosecuting.
