EL DORADO, Kan. (KSNW) – The El Dorado Crime Stoppers are warning the public about some fake $100 bills that have been passed twice in the area.

The money, which looks much like a real $100 bill, is “prop money” which is used in movies. The bills are clearly marked “For Motion Picture Use Only” in place of the “United States of America”. Another clue is that the blue line on the fake bills is not reflective.

Officials are warning people to check your bills and call with any information regarding  the fake money to 316-321-1080 or make a report online at eldoradocrimestoppers.com.
