Hutchinson fire crews battle motel fire

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KSNW) – The Hutchinson Fire Department battled a large motel fire early Wednesday morning. It broke out on West 4th Street.

When crews arrived, they found heavy fire on the first floor. The fire extended into the second story. Crews made an aggressive attack and got the fire under control in about 10 minutes.

Preliminary damage is estimated at $75,000 to both the building and contents. No injuries were reported

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Ten units from the Hutchinson Fire Department responded.
