Barton County Sheriff Brian Belendir said in a news release the crash happened about 12:45 p.m. on K-96 Highway just northwest of Great Bend.

Bellendir said a 2015 GMC pickup was pulling the trailer when it came unhitched, crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup driven by a 52-year-old woman from Pawnee Rock.

The trailer went under the Dodge, causing it to roll twice and injuring the driver, Bellendir said.  The woman was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital with multiple injuries and was last reported to be in stable condition.

The driver of the truck towing the trailer was not injured.
