Police: Wichita teen found with man she met in Tennessee

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police say a 16-year-old girl was found in Marshall County, Tennessee this morning after leaving a Northeast Magnet High School on Wednesday.

Police say the 18-year-old man traveled to Kansas to meet the girl. Police say they are not for sure if the two met online.

On Thursday, her cell phone was found on a rural Missouri road.

Police say the 18-year-old man was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The Exploited and Missing Child Unit is investigating.  Police say it is still early in the investigation.
