WICHITA, Kansas – Registration is now underway for all 2016 Gregg Marshall Shocker Basketball Camps.
Coach Marshall and staff will lead a variety of sessions this June designed to help boys and girls of all ages and ability levels improve their basketball knowledge and skills in a fun, energetic and positive atmosphere.
Camp brochures and pre-registration forms are available on the men’s basketball page at GoShockers.com, under the “camps” tab. Campers may register onsite, but a $20 walk-up fee will apply for non-registered campers.

Ages: High school freshman, JV and varsity teams
Dates: June 3-5
Registration Deadline: May 20 (including $200 non-refundable deposit)
Team camps provide an opportunity for coaches to work with their teams in game situations. Each squad is guaranteed at least five games, and all contests will be officiated by certified referees. Wichita State coaches will also lead a one-hour coaches clinic.

Session 1: June 6-9 (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) – tuition $250, lunch provided
Session 2: June 20-23 (1:00-5:15 p.m.) – tuition $175, lunch is not provided
Day Camps are developmental camps for boys and girls of all ability levels. Campers are taught all aspects of the game with emphasis on fundamentals and team play, and will also learn new drills, designed to improve their overall skillset.

Date/Time: June 25 (8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.)
Specifically designed for those players needing individualized shooting instruction. Offensive skill development, including shooting, fundamentals and proper footwork will be emphasized. This camp is led by Coach Marshall and the WSU staff, with on-court demonstrations by current and former Shocker players.

Ages: high school grades 9-12, junior college freshman and sophomores
Date/Time: June 25 (12:30-3:30 p.m.)
A developmental camp offering an intense session of instruction for those High School and Junior College players who are serious about improving their game. This camp is led by Coach Marshall and the WSU coaching staff, with on-court demonstrations by current and former Shocker players.
