Hutchinson police warns of IRS scam

HUTCHINSON, Kansas – The Hutchinson Police Department says they have received over seven phone calls concerning a scam involving the IRS.

The caller told victims they needed to pay back taxes or be arrested.

The Hutchinson Police Department says it is a scam.

If possible, do not answer and do not provide any money or personal information.

So far, police say they have left the following phone numbers: 202-615-4395, 509-651-5092, and 206-512-5763 on voice messages.
