WICHITA, Kansas – Another pizza delivery person has been robbed, this time in east Wichita.

Wichita Police Sgt. Joe Kennedy said the incident took place at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of S. Parkwood.  That’s just north of the Dole VA medical center.

Kennedy said the 27-year-old man delivering a pizza said he was approached by a suspect who indicated he had a gun. The suspect, however, did not show the gun, Kennedy said.

The victim told police the robber demanded money, the pizza and a necklace the delivery person was wearing.  He said once he complied, the robber ran westbound on Parkwood.

The suspect is described as being a male, about six feet tall, weighing about 150 lbs., and wearing a blue jacket and a bandanna over his face.

The delivery driver was not injured in the incident.
