WICHITA, Kansas – A man robbed a Dillon’s store near Bel Aire Saturday night, making off with cash from the business.
Wichita police say the robbery took place at about 9 p.m. when a man walked into the store in the 3700 block of N. Woodlawn, made a gesture he had a gun, and demanded money from an employee.
Sgt. Joe Kennedy said the employee complied, giving the robber an unknown amount of cash.
Kennedy said the robber was last seen climbing over a wall bordering the property and getting into a white unknown make car. The robber then drove eastbound toward Woodlawn, Kennedy said.
The suspect is described a a male, about 20-30 years old, about 5’7″ tall weighing about 140 pounds and wearing gray clothing.
Kennedy said no one was hurt in the robbery.
