Exercising to eat?

Experts are researching new approach to promote healthy eating, targeting you right in the sweet-spot, or rather, on the sweets box.

The new approach would center around putting the amount of exercise required to burn of the calories right on food labels.

Experts hope that this tactic could go a long way towards driving down obesity rates.

“The simpler we can make it, the more we can make it very easy and accessible for the consumer, the more it actually ends up doing some good and impacting what people choose,” says David Just of Cornell University.

Opponents to the plan say that the amount of exercise needed to burn calories is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and may vary for different people.
