Case of human trafficking investigated in northwest Kansas

ST FRANCIS, Kansas – A case of aggravated human trafficking is being investigated in St Francis.

On Mar. 29, the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office, Saint Francis Police Department along with the Sherman County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Bureau of Investigations  served a search warrant

Officials say the alleged crimes took place in several jurisdictions. The suspect is being held on unrelated charges in the Sherman County Jail. Police are not releasing the name until the person is formally charged.
