Haven man injured in Harvey County crash

HAVEN, Kansas – A Haven man was injured in a one-vehicle roll-over crash on Wednesday afternoon.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at 12:30 p.m. on SW 72nd Street about a half-mile east of Woodberry Rd. near Haven.

KHP said a 1986 Ford Ranger pickup was headed westbound on SW 72nd when the driver lost control of the truck on the dirt road. The driver, a 54-year-old man from Haven, over-corrected and the vehicle rolled into the north ditch.

The patrol report did not indicate what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

The man driving the truck was taken to the Hutchinson Regional Hospital in unknown condition.

He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
