On Monday night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, the host tackled Kansas’ tax cuts in a segment called “A Closer Look”
Meyers spent a good six minutes in the show looking at the results of Kansas Governor Sam Brownback’s drastic tax cuts and not in a good way. Meyers started out by saying the state has become a laboratory for conservative economic policies under Governor Sam Brownback. Brownback and the Kansas legislature eliminated income taxes for small businesses.
Some Kansas Democrats and a group of Republicans have been pushing to repeal certain income tax cuts enacted in 2012.
