Centralia beats Osborne in boys 1A-DI title game

DODGE CITY, Kan. (AP) – Jonathon Johnson scored 15 points to lead Centralia to a 38-27 win over Osborne in the 1A Division I state championship on Saturday.

Centralia led Osborne by 17 points after halftime, but each team only scored two points in the third quarter. Osborne began cutting into Centralia’s lead in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap.

Braden Deters also scored 7 points for Centralia, and Dustin Talley grabbed 12 rebounds.

Osborne’s top scorers were Cullen Grabast with 10 points and Tanner Conway with 9.
