Bishop Miege beats McPherson in boys 4A-DI title game

SALINA, Kan. (AP) – Jeremiah Robinson-Earl scored 16 points to lead Bishop Miege to a 69-59 win over McPherson in the 4A Division I state championship on Saturday.

The game was close until the fourth quarter, when Bishop Miege overtook McPherson’s 3-point advantage to rack up a 10-point lead.

Robinson-Earl had three teammates also score in the double-digit: Bol Bol, Semaj Ray and Joseph Gleason. Gleason also grabbed 13 rebounds.

Ben Pyle scored 23 points for McPherson, and he sunk five 3-pointers. He was followed by Drew Pyle, who scored 22 points and made all five of his free throws.
