Two injured in Sherman County vehicle chase

Two people were injured Friday in a crash following a vehicle pursuit in Sherman County in northwest Kansas.

SHERMAN COUNTY, Kan. – Two people were injured Friday in a crash following a vehicle pursuit in Sherman County in northwest Kansas.

The Sherman County Sheriff’s Office reports its deputies were dispatched to a vehicle chase involving the Kansas Highway Patrol in the southwest part of the county.

Deputies say the suspect’s vehicle lost control on a dirt road, rolled over and wrecked before they arrived on the scene.

Two people were transported to the Goodland Regional Medical Center in unknown condition.

Sherman County officials did not say what prompted the pursuit.
