WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita school officials say they’re investigating a substitute teacher’s alleged behavior.

More than one student in the 4th grade class at Price-Harris Elementary School reported the woman’s behavior.

The school’s principal said in a letter to parents the woman snatched items out of students’ hands and talked too sternly to the kids.

The substitute has been banned from teaching at Price-Harris, and the principal is recommending USD 259 not to use her.

The school district says USD 259 security is investigating, and that law enforcement may also be called into investigate if necessary.
