Police: 3 suspects in custody in Mossman homicide

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police say they now have three suspects in custody in a double homicide that occurred last week in Wichita. The shooting happened in the 2500 block of East Mossman.

Police say a 55-year-old woman died at the scene. A 24-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition where he later died.

Officers say they interviewed numerous witnesses at the scene and learned there had been a confrontation between two men at the home and another man who came over to drop off a girl.

Police say the third suspect arrested is 19-year-old Jonathan Carter.  Police are looking for a fourth suspect in the case.

The other two suspects arrested are 24-year-old Brent J. Carter and 19-year-old Jamion D. Wimbley.
