No one injured in Bel Aire house fire

BEL AIRE, Kansas — Fire crews responded to the scene of a house fire in Bel Aire Friday afternoon.

The first crews on the scene encountered heavy smoke coming from a residence

Witnesses reported seeing flames and heavy smoke coming from the home’s garage.

The owner of the home said he was upstairs in his office when a neighbor knocked on his door to tell him his house was on fire.  The man said his daughter also was in the house at the time the fire started.  He said he went back up stairs to get the family’s dogs and got outside.

No one was injured in the blaze.
