WICHITA, Kansas – A Wichita businessman is found dead in a car in Dallas. Police say it is still a mystery of how and why he died.

Otis Kelley, 46, was last seen on Oct. 16 with his friend 34-year-old Timothy Zeigler.

When they hadn’t heard from him, his family and friends began to worry on Oct. 18. They filed a missing person’s report.

On Oct. 20, Dallas police contacted Wichita police to say they had found Kelley’s body inside a car. Police are still trying to determine what Kelley was doing in Dallas. Both Kelley and Zeigler had been planning a trip to Houston later. As for Zeigler, he was found in Oklahoma City earlier today.

“We do not know at this time. We believe they went together, but we do not know,” said Lt. Todd Ojile, Wichita Police Department.

Kelley was the owner of Kelley Automotive on West 18th Street. Dallas police are continuing the investigation.
