KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Royals fans came from far and wide to see Games one and two of the World Series.  Among those fans were Wichitans and Central Kansans. Game one didn’t end until early Wednesday morning, but despite a lack of sleep Casey Shuey and his friend made the drive from Great Bend Wednesday morning determined to see a World Series game.

“Oh we’re pretty pumped!” he said. “We’re a little tired after last night’s game but got up early this morning and got up here and got some free parking.”
Valerie Metcalfe came from Wichita to meet family and friends.
“This is the third one we’ve been to this season,” she said.  “It’s exciting, we’re gonna have fun!”
